Ashley was born prematurely and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 inches. She was in ICU for a month. The news was made to her parents at the time of the Christmas Day that she would have to undergo heart surgery. Christmas Day brought answers to her prayers when doctors told her parents that she had the heart shut. Ashley didn't need to undergo any surgeries. Within two months of hospitalization she weighed only 4 1/2 lbs when she was released. Since then, she's in good health! She is of English, German and Irish roots. Her mother's side is Irish. In 2002, she was first noticed in an advertisement to promote her Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley was initially approached by the Ford Modeling Agency when she was eight years old. As of today Ashley is still working in the print industry. When she was 10 Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley continued to work on 35 commercials, and then on to theatrical roles. It was her main passion to act. Ashley committed every moment of her life in acting, and never found time to do modeling or dancing. Ashley appeared as "Hanna Marin" in the ABC Family show ABC Family, Pretty Little Liars (2010). Ashley was as well in Romeo Miller's video (aka Lil Romeo), and also in the song of Solange"True Love. Britney Spears acted as her co-star in an Vogue Magazine photoshoot. She appears in the music video "That Girl" by NLT.
